Kwame Rugunda

Chief Executive

As CEO, Kwame brings to Savannah vast experience in technology, management and business. He sits on Uganda’s Taskforce on the 4th Industrial Revolution, is an Electrical Engineer and Mathematician, and is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Noah Baalessanvu

Head of Technology

Noah leads the Technology Business at Savannah. He is a cyber security expert and chairs Uganda’s National Information Security Advisory Group (NISAG). He is an Electrical Engineer with certifications in cryptography and crypto technologies from Princeton University.

Edmond Macheli

Head of Advisory

Edmond leads Savannah’s Advisory Business. He is a chartered Accountant and an International Public Financial Management Consultant. He is a Doctoral Student, with an MBA, ACCA, BCOM from Makerere and is an alumni of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Jassy Ebwanyu

Head of Projects

As coordinator of projects, Jassy is experienced in project management, customer experience and leading teams. She has a degree in office and information management from Makerere Business School and has completed a leadership course with Harvest Institute.

Solomon Rugunda

Head of Business Development

Solomon heads the Business Development of Savannah. He is an IT entrepreneur with expertise in payment systems, development of software, consulting and Energy. He has a Master’s in Software Engineering, with certifications in IBM software and expertise in digital solutions.

Robert Kirunda

Head of Legal

Robert has a wealth of legal experience from the public and private sector. He is a law don at Makerere University and partner at Kirunda & Wasige Advocates. He holds a Master of Laws from University of Western Cape in South Africa and is pursuing his Doctor of Laws Degree.

David Gimei Nagimesi

Head of IT

As Head of IT, David brings to Savannah his experience in IT, including the design and implementation of system integrations. He worked as a consultant for Google Uganda, Grameen Foundation, MTN, Plessey (PTY) Africa, and has led various other private and public sector technology assignments.
